A law firm seeks a qualified Associate Attorney to support its practice in Atlanta, GA, with a focus on real estate and creditors' rights. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney looking to contribute to a dynamic team while making a meaningful impact in the legal field.

Duties:

  • Manage a diverse caseload within creditors' rights, ensuring effective and timely representation of clients.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct discovery processes and handle depositions, resolving conflicts as needed.
  • Represent clients in court, advocating for their interests in various legal matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop strategic approaches that enhance the firm’s standing in the industry.
  • Foster relationships within the legal community to establish trust and reliability with clients.
  • Stay current on relevant laws and regulations, including TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code, to provide informed legal counsel.

Requirements:

  • Must be an active member in good standing with the Missouri State Bar and licensed (or able to obtain a license quickly) in the Missouri federal district and bankruptcy courts.
  • Preference for candidates with 5+ years of litigation experience; newly licensed attorneys are welcome to apply.
  • Familiarity with the Missouri legal system and a commitment to exceptional client service.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Missouri State Bar is required.
  • Additional Bar licenses are advantageous.

  • Strong leadership abilities with an emphasis on teamwork and mentoring.
