A law firm based in Yulee is seeking a dynamic Pre-Suit Attorney specializing in Personal Injury. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience managing a heavy personal injury caseload. They will be responsible for gathering necessary documents, negotiating settlements, and managing cases with insurance providers. Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to empathize with clients are essential for success in this role.

 

Job Duties:

  • Gather necessary documents, evidence, and information related to personal injury claims.
  • Negotiate settlement offers with insurance providers.
  • Prepare demand letters and assist in settlement negotiations.
  • Effectively manage a full caseload of personal injury cases.
  • Oversee and manage a dedicated legal assistant.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, prioritizing client needs and concerns.
  • Open new files and make initial client contact, continuing communication throughout the case.
  • Fully investigate each case, gathering and analyzing intake information and relevant documents.
  • Verify insurance coverage and liability issues, maintaining contact with insurance companies.
  • Manage clients' medical care, communicating with clients and medical providers.
  • Schedule and calendar medical appointments, explaining procedures and related documentation to clients.
  • Continuously monitor case status and review medical records.
  • Organize and maintain case files, preparing files for submission to demand writers.
  • Maintain active membership in the Bar Association.

 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience managing a heavy personal injury caseload.
  • Active membership in the Bar Association in good standing.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact empathetically with clients.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Active membership in the Bar Association.

 

Skills:
