Job Title: Real Estate Attorney - Investment Funds Group
Job Location: Houston, TX

Job Overview:
A reputable law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney for its Investment Funds Group. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of substantive experience in real estate, particularly in acquisitions, dispositions, and financings. Familiarity with securities offerings is a plus. This position offers flexibility, allowing for both full-time and part-time arrangements. The role demands strong analytical and writing skills, a keen eye for detail, solid business judgment, and excellent organizational capabilities. Candidates should be able to work both collaboratively and independently.

Duties:

  • Advise clients on a variety of real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings
  • Draft and review documents related to real estate transactions
  • Provide legal support on investment funds matters, including structuring and securities offerings
  • Conduct legal research and assist in resolving complex issues
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals, business experts, and clients to achieve optimal results
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and expectations
  • Provide high-quality legal deliverables and efficient service to clients
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the practice group

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on acquisitions, dispositions, and financings
  • Active license to practice law in Texas
  • Proven ability to provide strategic legal advice and handle complex matters
  • Strong writing, communication, and analytical skills
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas
