A law firm seeks an experienced and motivated Litigation Attorney specializing in personal injury cases to join their dynamic team in Buckhead, Atlanta. Duties

• Lead and manage all phases of plaintiff and/or insurance defense litigation with a focus on personal injury cases
• Handle discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests
• Conduct and manage depositions, both taking and defending
• Draft and file motions, pleadings, and other court documents with precision
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediations to advocate for client interests
• Represent clients in court, including pretrial conferences, hearings, and jury trials
• Ensure efficient case management by proactively moving files toward settlement or trial
• Provide superior client service, maintaining regular client communication and updates

Requirements

• Active Bar license in the state of Georgia, in good standing
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in litigation, preferably in personal injury law
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle cases with thoroughness and urgency
• Exceptional client service orientation with clear, professional communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with an organized, detail-oriented approach
• Positive, professional, and proactive work ethic

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active Georgia Bar License (required)

Skills

• Proficient in legal research, drafting, and case management software
• Advanced negotiation skills, with experience in mediation and arbitration
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for legal correspondence and courtroom presentations
• Detail-oriented with superior organizational and time-management capabilities
• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred, but not required)
