A law firm seeks an Entry-Level Associate Attorney to join its Dallas, TX office. This full-time position offers an exceptional training and mentoring opportunity within a well-established litigation and intellectual property firm. The role involves assisting senior attorneys with a diverse caseload, including commercial litigation, construction law, contract disputes, and intellectual property matters. This position requires a commitment to in-office work and occasional travel for hearings.Duties:Conduct legal research using resources such as Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy.Assist in drafting various legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and client correspondence.Participate in client meetings to discuss new cases and ongoing case strategies.Support senior attorneys as junior counsel during trials and arbitration.Conduct and defend depositions under the guidance of senior attorneys.Represent clients in assigned hearings as directed by supervising attorneys.Requirements:Strong research and writing skills to effectively support case development and litigation strategy.Willingness to travel for hearings as required.No prior experience is required; training will be provided.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active bar admission preferred, or willingness to obtain bar certification.Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and courtroom interactions.Strong organizational skills to manage case files and meet deadlines.Eagerness to learn and develop litigation skills in a structured, mentorship-driven environment.Ability to collaborate effectively with senior attorneys and support staff.Benefits:Health insurance with 50% of the premium covered by the firm.Paid federal holidays and two weeks of accrued paid vacation annually.Sick leave and professional development assistance, including CLE and bar license fees.Malpractice coverage and annual performance reviews with potential for salary increase.
