Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join its Litigation practice group in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in complex business litigation and a background in areas such as securities, government contracts, financial services, intellectual property, or other specialized litigation fields.

Duties:

• Handle complex business litigation matters, representing clients in various industries.
• Assist in all stages of litigation, from discovery and motions to trials and appeals.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
• Conduct legal research and collaborate with team members to develop strategies for cases.
• Represent clients in depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
• Work closely with clients to provide updates, guidance, and strategic advice throughout the litigation process.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in complex business litigation.
• Experience in one or more specialized fields such as securities, government contracts, financial services, intellectual property, employment, healthcare, real estate, privacy, cybersecurity, or government investigations is a plus.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Clerkship experience is preferred but not required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Georgia or eligible for admission.
