The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in drafting and arguing motions, defending and taking depositions, preparing pleadings and discovery materials, and creating comprehensive case strategies. The candidate must be able to manage high-volume work and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a strong attention to detail.

Duties:

• Draft and argue motions in business litigation cases.
• Conduct and defend depositions with precision.
• Prepare pleadings and discovery materials for complex cases.
• Develop and implement case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
• Assist in case management and client communication.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings as necessary.
• Support the litigation team with research and legal analysis.
• Manage case files and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Contribute to business development efforts, including client meetings and presentations.

Requirements:

• 6-8 years of business litigation experience.
• Strong experience in drafting motions and pleadings.
• Proven skills in taking and defending depositions.
• Demonstrated ability to develop case strategies.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and legal writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Must be admitted to the California Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
