Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Business Attorney with 8-10 years of expertise in business and/or real estate transactions. Candidates with experience in tax, estates and trusts, intellectual property, or health law are highly preferred. This role also requires some portable business, and the successful candidate will possess strong academic credentials, excellent research and writing skills, and the ability to work independently. The position offers competitive compensation commensurate with experience.

Location:

  • Baltimore, Maryland

Duties:

  • Handle a wide range of business and real estate transactions.
  • Advise clients on various legal matters, including tax, estates and trusts, intellectual property, and health law.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support transaction strategies.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys to develop legal solutions for clients.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in business and/or real estate transactions.
  • Portable business preferred.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Must be admitted to practice law in Maryland.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Maryland.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of business and real estate transactions.
  • Experience in tax, estates and trusts, intellectual property, or health law is a plus.
  • Strong legal research and writing abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex legal matters independently.
