Job Title: Casualty Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A well-established law firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience to join their dynamic casualty practice. This position involves handling complex cases related to premises and retail liability, product liability, rideshare liability, construction defects and injuries, public entity and civil rights, and commercial auto/trucking matters for corporate and Fortune 500 clients. Duties:

  • Litigate a variety of casualty cases, including premises liability, product liability, construction defects, commercial auto, and trucking cases.
  • Manage cases involving catastrophic losses, fatalities, and multiple claimants.
  • Prepare legal documents such as motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case development.
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials as required.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members for strategic case handling.
  • Provide regular updates to clients regarding case progression.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in civil litigation, particularly in casualty law.
