Location:

Duties:

• Take full ownership of defense litigation cases, from inception through resolution.

• Manage complex cases with minimal supervision, ensuring high-quality work and effective client service.

• Conduct depositions, hearings, and mediations, leading the defense strategy.

• Proactively solve problems and anticipate potential issues before they escalate.

• Communicate case-related information clearly and thoroughly, both internally and with clients.

• Maintain an intensive workload while delivering superior work products.

• Demonstrate emotional intelligence and manage stress in high-pressure situations.

• Travel throughout Texas as needed for case-related activities.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of substantial personal injury defense litigation experience.

• Significant experience defending commercial motor carriers.

• Proven track record of managing complex defense cases from start to finish.

• Leadership experience in depositions, hearings, and mediations.

• Texas Bar admission and current Texas residency.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Texas Bar Association.

Skills:

• Strong personal injury defense litigation skills, particularly in commercial trucking.
