A distinguished law firm is seeking a talented and driven Career Associate Attorney to become a part of its dynamic Insurance & Reinsurance Litigation Practice Group. The firm is looking for candidates with significant experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation, particularly in areas related to professional liability, general liability, and directors' & officers' insurance policies. This role offers the opportunity to join a collaborative team while allowing for independent work on complex legal matters.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in insurance and reinsurance litigation matters, focusing on coverage issues.
  • Conduct legal research and draft comprehensive legal documents, including memoranda and motions.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy, preparation, and presentation.
  • Assist in managing client relationships and communication on ongoing cases.
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Contribute to the firm’s efforts to provide innovative legal solutions in complex insurance litigation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
  • Strong expertise in professional liability, general liability, and directors & officers insurance policies.
  • Exceptional research and writing skills.
  • Proven ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and effectively within a team environment.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to think critically and strategically.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice law in the relevant state (Pennsylvania).
