A law firm is seeking a Corporate Transactional Attorney to join their team in Concord. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate and financing transactions, entity formations, contract drafting and negotiation, and possess other skills typically expected of a corporate/transactional associate. This role involves supporting a wide variety of transactional and general corporate work within the Business and Finance Group and other specialty practice areas. The candidate should be able to excel in both team settings and individual work.

 

Job Overview

The Corporate Transactional Attorney will play a vital role in the Firm's Business and Finance Group, handling diverse corporate transactions, entity formations, and contract negotiations. They will work closely with a team of legal professionals to provide comprehensive legal counsel to clients.

 

Duties:

  • Draft and review various corporate documents, including agreements, contracts, and corporate governance documents.
  • Conduct legal research and provide analysis on complex corporate and transactional matters.
  • Assist with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop strategic legal solutions.
  • Support clients in structuring, negotiating, and closing business deals.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state Bar and in good standing.
  • 2-4 years of prior experience in corporate law, specifically in transactional work.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, securities, and business law.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
