Job Title: Senior Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A distinguished law firm located in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Senior Litigation Associate with experience in commercial litigation and employment law. The role involves handling a variety of legal matters including contract disputes, partnership disputes, shareholder/derivative actions, and employment-related issues. This is a hybrid position offering flexibility in the work environment, and the firm seeks a driven professional with excellent communication, organizational, and legal skills.

Duties:

• Represent clients in commercial litigation, including contract disputes, partnership disputes, and shareholder/derivative actions.
• Manage employment law cases involving workplace disputes, wrongful termination, discrimination claims, and compliance issues.
• Lead discovery processes, including depositions and interrogatories, to collect case-critical information.
• Develop and execute comprehensive litigation strategies, from pre-trial to settlement or trial.
• Draft and review legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and employment contracts.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other involved parties.
• Independently manage cases while collaborating with the legal team to meet client needs.

Requirements:

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership with the Texas State Bar.
• 4+ years of experience in commercial litigation and/or employment law.
• Proven experience in handling contract disputes, partnership disputes, shareholder/derivative actions, and employment-related legal matters.
• Strong discovery experience and the ability to develop litigation strategies.
• Exceptional writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet billable hour expectations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership with the Texas State Bar (Required).
