A law firm seeks a dedicated Personal Injury Attorney to join their team in Edwardsville, IL. This role involves advocating for victims of personal injury by effectively negotiating and litigating cases. The ideal candidate will have experience in personal injury, insurance defense, or related fields.

Duties:

• Represent clients in personal injury cases, providing legal advice and support throughout the process.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing parties on behalf of clients.
• Prepare and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and other court-related filings.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to build strong cases.
• Engage in litigation, including discovery, depositions, and court appearances.
• Maintain detailed case files and documentation to ensure compliance with legal standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients to keep them informed about case progress and developments.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active law license in Illinois or Missouri is required.
• Experience in personal injury law, insurance defense, or disability law is preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

• Valid membership in the state bar for Illinois or Missouri.
