A prestigious law firm is seeking a results-driven Litigation Attorney to join its Plano, TX, office. This role offers the opportunity to advocate for clients in high-stakes insurance litigation, ensuring they receive the benefits and protections they are entitled to under their policies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong advocacy skills, capable of handling complex cases from inception to resolution.
Client Advocacy: Represent policyholders in insurance-related disputes, including coverage denials and bad faith claims.
Case Development: Conduct thorough legal research, review insurance policies, analyze claim details, and craft compelling legal arguments.
Litigation & Negotiation: Handle all phases of litigation, including depositions, mediations, settlement negotiations, and courtroom trials.
Legal Documentation: Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents to support case strategy and secure favorable client outcomes.
Strategic Case Management: Oversee a diverse caseload, ensuring timely and efficient progression of matters.
Collaboration & Leadership: Work alongside a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal professionals to develop case strategies and maximize success.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law and in good standing with the state bar.
1–6 years of litigation experience, preferably in first-party property insurance or related fields.
Strong legal research, analytical, and written communication skills.
Effective negotiation and courtroom advocacy abilities.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
Salary Range: $80,000 – $200,000 (Base + Commission).
