The successful candidate will play a key role in public and private company mergers and acquisitions, along with other strategic transactions. Duties:

  • Serve as a key associate on mergers and acquisitions transactions
  • Draft and review definitive transaction agreements
  • Oversee due diligence processes and disclosure letters
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts throughout transactions
  • Manage client relationships and provide legal support during transactions
  • Ensure all aspects of strategic transactions are handled efficiently

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions or strategic transactions
  • Experience as an associate on M&A transactions, including drafting agreements and managing deal processes
  • Strong client management skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in the state of the chosen office location (New York, California, or Washington) or eligibility for admission
