Senior Attorney with 9+ years of experience

A highly respected law firm in San Jose, CA, seeks an accomplished and dynamic senior attorney to join its esteemed practice groups, including Family Law, Trust and Estate Litigation, and Corporate Law. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex matters in family law, trust and estate litigation, and corporate law, providing strategic legal guidance to clients.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and exceptional service.
• Collaborate closely with team members across various practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
• Represent clients in high-stakes litigation, settlement negotiations, and business transactions.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and support staff, fostering a strong and cohesive team dynamic.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and help grow the firm’s presence in key areas of practice.
• Maintain a strong focus on client retention, cross-selling opportunities, and firm growth.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• A minimum of 9 years of experience in family law, trust and estate litigation, or corporate law within a private firm setting.
• Proven track record in managing high-level legal matters and building a client base (a small book of business required).
• Strong experience in litigation, legal research, drafting, and strategy development across multiple legal areas.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases and negotiations.
• Ability to develop new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of the firm.
• A strong entrepreneurial spirit, with a commitment to providing excellent client service.
• Must be admitted to the California Bar and in good standing.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction, as well as internal collaboration.
• A high level of integrity, professionalism, and judgment.

Additional Details:

• Job Type: Of Counsel initially for 6-12 months, with the potential to transition to Shareholder based on performance and contribution.
