Job Overview: A prestigious law firm in Peabody, MA, is seeking a dedicated Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury Attorney to join our legal team. This role focuses on representing plaintiffs in medical malpractice and personal injury cases, offering a hybrid work arrangement with occasional in-person meetings. The successful candidate will advocate for clients facing significant life challenges, supporting them through complex legal proceedings to secure deserved compensation.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in medical malpractice and personal injury civil actions
  • Conduct and defend depositions, manage discovery, and draft pleadings
  • Engage in motion practice, trial preparation, and analysis of medical records
  • Communicate case progress and key insights to clients and firm partners
  • Maintain a high level of organization in a paperless office setting

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3-5 years in Medical Malpractice or Personal Injury (plaintiff-side)
  • Licensure: Admission to the Massachusetts Bar; New Hampshire Bar admission is a bonus
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Case Management Software, Microsoft Office Suite, E-filing, and court websites

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Massachusetts Bar Admission (NH Bar Admission a plus)
