Duties

  • Oversee residential and commercial real estate transactions, including sales, refinances, and related activities.
  • Review title documents and ensure accuracy for smooth closings.
  • Collaborate with lenders, brokers, agents, buyers, and sellers to facilitate transactions.
  • Draft and/or review essential legal documents such as contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase and sale agreements.
  • Provide professional and responsive client service, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Review disbursement ledgers and sign checks.
  • Foster and maintain business relationships to drive growth.
  • Conduct training and informational sessions for clients on real estate law.

Requirements

  • Residential real estate experience is preferred; however, training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Must be a member in good standing with the South Carolina State Bar.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Self-starter with the ability to engage in community activities and achieve measurable results.
  • Demonstrated growth mindset with a focus on residential real estate.
  • A strong work ethic as shown through academic and professional accomplishments.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the South Carolina State Bar (in good standing).
