Duties

  • Manage complex commercial litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
  • Conduct and manage discovery, both traditional and electronic
  • Appear in state and federal courts, including at trials and final hearings
  • Provide strategic litigation advice and case management
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop and execute case strategies
  • Lead legal research efforts and provide written analysis and memoranda
  • Support arbitration proceedings, as applicable
  • Mentor junior associates and support team development
  • Stay updated on relevant legal developments and trends, particularly in commercial litigation and arbitration

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial litigation and/or arbitration
  • Extensive trial experience, including final hearings, and/or arbitration experience
  • Strong legal drafting, research, and discovery management skills
  • Proven track record of effective oral and written advocacy
  • Ability to handle sophisticated casework and complex litigation strategies
  • Self-starter with a proactive, results-oriented mindset
  • Admission to the Florida Bar, or eligibility for admission

Education

  • Law degree from an accredited law school
  • Graduation from a top-tier law school or ranking in the top of the class preferred
  • Federal clerkship experience and an interest in international disputes are a plus

Certifications

  • Florida Bar Admission (or eligibility for admission)
