Duties

• Manage assigned caseloads both independently and under supervision
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery demands
• Conduct depositions, attend court appearances, and engage in motion practice
• Perform detailed legal research and analysis
• Maintain strong client relationships and adhere to client guidelines
• Ensure timely compliance with all deadlines
• Accurately track and record billable hours

Requirements

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in defense litigation
• Admission to the New York State Bar (additional admissions in PA, NJ, and/or CT are a plus)
• Familiarity with federal court proceedings is advantageous
• Strong written, research, and analytical skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar (PA, NJ, and/or CT admission is beneficial)
