Job Title: Senior Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Wilmington, DE, seeks a highly skilled Senior Litigation Attorney to manage a diverse caseload and represent clients in various legal proceedings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in drafting litigation documents, providing strategic legal advice, and advocating effectively for clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and drafting discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda
• Effectively communicating, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties
• Producing deliverables, answering phone calls, and replying to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner
• Providing timely, accurate, and high-quality work product
• Meeting deadlines, managing expectations, and performing work duties as required
• Fostering positive work relationships within the firm and with external parties
• Compliance with all firm policies and practices
• Engaging in both physical and sedentary activities, including extended computer work, digital/virtual conference calls, and meetings as needed
• Performing all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Litigation Attorney
• Proven experience drafting litigation documents such as motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions
• Strong analytical and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Good business judgment and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
• Research and problem-solving abilities with conceptual thinking
• Ability to influence others and deliver persuasive communications
• Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
• JD degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Delaware Bar is required
