A law firm in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with a strong academic background and substantial law firm experience. The ideal candidate will possess superb writing and communication skills and have a preference for technical degrees in chemistry, biology, or related fields. The role requires experience in drafting briefs and handling all aspects of fact and expert discovery, with a focus on Hatch Waxman litigation.

Duties:

  • Draft and review legal briefs, motions, and other litigation documents.
  • Participate in all phases of fact and expert discovery.
  • Develop and execute litigation strategies in Hatch Waxman cases.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Attend court hearings and manage case filings.
  • Collaborate with clients, expert witnesses, and other legal professionals.
  • Prepare for and participate in depositions, trials, and arbitration.
  • Provide legal advice and recommendations to clients based on case developments.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • 3+ years of experience in Hatch Waxman litigation.
  • Demonstrated experience in drafting legal documents and managing discovery.
  • High level of academic achievement and solid law firm experience.
  • Preference for candidates with technical degrees in chemistry, biology, or related fields.

Education:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Georgia (or ability to obtain licensure).

Skills:
