This full-time role involves advocating for individuals affected by medical malpractice and handling complex litigation cases. The attorney will manage medical malpractice claims, from client consultation and case investigation to courtroom representation and settlement negotiations. Duties:

  • Analyze medical records, reports, and expert testimonies to build a thorough understanding of each case
  • Consult with medical professionals to evaluate the standard of care and determine if a breach occurred
  • Investigate and compile evidence to support clients' medical malpractice claims
  • Conduct interviews with clients, witnesses, and medical experts involved in the case
  • Draft and file various legal documents including lawsuits, motions, appeals, and contracts
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, presenting arguments and evidence
  • Negotiate settlements to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
  • Stay informed on relevant medical developments and legal precedents in medical malpractice law
  • Guide clients through every step of the legal process, ensuring they are well-informed about their case
  • Collaborate closely with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and standards of care
