Duties

• Advise and advocate for clients, representing their interests in a strategic manner
• Draft, review, and negotiate various legal agreements and documents
• Prepare and file comprehensive legal documents, including through e-filing with courts
• Conduct hearings, bench and jury trials, mediations, and arbitrations
• Communicate case status and processes to clients regularly
• Manage case deadlines, perform legal research, and document billable hours in case management software

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of litigation experience in at least one of the firm’s practice areas
• Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage deadlines efficiently
• Active Georgia Bar license in good standing, with no disciplinary history

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Georgia

Skills

• Proficient in legal research, drafting, and negotiation
• Strong advocacy and client communication abilities
• Experience with case management software such as MyCase (preferred)
• Knowledge of federal court procedures and bankruptcy law is a plus
