Duties:

• Conduct thorough legal research using platforms such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, discovery, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Assist in trial preparation and other case-related tasks.
• Collaborate with other attorneys on cases and complex legal issues.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather information and provide updates on case progress.
• Attend court hearings and client meetings as required, representing the firm professionally.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Alabama State Bar is mandatory for practice.
• Previous experience in legal research, writing, and drafting is preferred.
• Familiarity with Contract, Domestic, Personal Injury, or Business Law is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and documentation.

Education:
