A law firm is seeking a Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity Associate Attorney with the following qualifications:

Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support on mergers and acquisitions transactions
  • Draft and negotiate transaction documents, including purchase agreements, merger agreements, and ancillary documents
  • Conduct due diligence reviews
  • Assist in structuring and executing complex transactions
  • Advise clients on corporate governance matters related to mergers and acquisitions
  • Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on various legal matters
  • Handle client communications and maintain client relationships
  • Research and stay updated on relevant legal developments in mergers and acquisitions and private equity

Requirements:

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • 3-4 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and private equity at a major law firm
  • Membership in good standing with the CA State Bar
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Membership to the CA State Bar
