General Liability Partner/Senior Associate Attorney

A law firm in Iselin, NJ, is seeking a General Liability Partner/Senior Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM claims, premises liability, construction accidents, and product liability. Trial experience is preferred. The role requires a motivated and independent thinker with exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. A book of existing work is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee cases related to commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM claims, premises liability, construction accidents, and product liability.
• Represent clients in trial and pre-trial proceedings, including depositions, motions, and hearings.
• Develop and implement case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Interact with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in cases.
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior attorneys and support staff.
• Maintain a high level of organization and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations throughout case management.
• Collaborate with team members to address complex legal issues and strategies.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active license to practice law in New Jersey, in good standing.
• Significant experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM claims, premises liability, construction accidents, and product liability.
• Trial experience is preferred.
• Book of existing work is a plus.
• Must be self-motivated, a self-starter, and an independent thinker.
