A law firm in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Transactional Real Estate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in real estate law and demonstrate substantial expertise in managing real estate transactions, including drafting and negotiating documents, ensuring compliance, and advising clients on legal risks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess legal risks in real estate documentation, advising clients accordingly.
• Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations relevant to real estate transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate real estate transactions, including routine leases and amendments.
• Ensure necessary approvals and compliance are obtained before executing real estate transactions.
• Manage regulatory and compliance-related services for real estate matters.
• Represent the firm in the purchase and sale of properties.
• Oversee title insurance underwriting, curative processes, and claims.
• Handle foreclosure matters with a strong understanding of the relevant procedures.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited institution.
• Admitted as a notary public (essential).
• 5-7 years of robust experience in real estate law and industry knowledge, including litigation, lease transactions, property management, and purchase and sale transactions.
• Proven experience in title insurance underwriting, curative processes, and claims management.
• Comprehensive understanding of foreclosure processes.
