Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess legal risks in real estate documentation, advising clients accordingly.
  • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations relevant to real estate transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate real estate transactions, including routine leases and amendments.
  • Ensure necessary approvals and compliance are obtained before executing real estate transactions.
  • Manage regulatory and compliance-related services for real estate matters.
  • Represent the firm in the purchase and sale of properties.
  • Oversee title insurance underwriting, curative processes, and claims.
  • Handle foreclosure matters with a strong understanding of the relevant procedures.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited institution.
  • Admitted as a notary public (essential).
  • 5-7 years of robust experience in real estate law and industry knowledge, including litigation, lease transactions, property management, and purchase and sale transactions.
  • Proven experience in title insurance underwriting, curative processes, and claims management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of foreclosure processes.
