A law firm is seeking a Mid-level Class Action Associate Attorney for their New York City office. Here's a detailed job description:

Job Overview: The Mid-level Class Action Associate Attorney will manage a variety of complex litigation matters, focusing on class action defense and related areas. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.

Duties:

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce high-quality deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence promptly.
• Provide timely and accurate work product, meeting deadlines and expectations.
• Foster positive work relationships and comply with all firm policies.
• Engage in both physical and sedentary activities as required by the job.
• Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 4 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Experience managing a multi-matter docket, specifically in class action defense.
• Strong background in complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation.
• Previous federal clerkship experience preferred.
• Admission to the New York Bar is required.
