A law firm in Phoenix is seeking an eDiscovery Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate should have relevant industry affiliations and excellent counseling, writing, and hands-on litigation skills. Labor and employment experience would be a plus.

 

Duties:

  • Conducting legal research related to eDiscovery matters
  • Drafting and preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Managing and overseeing the eDiscovery process for the firm's clients
  • Collaborating with legal teams to strategize and develop case plans
  • Participating in client meetings and providing legal counsel on eDiscovery issues
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in eDiscovery
  • Assisting in negotiations and settlements related to eDiscovery matters
  • Providing support in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings
  • Maintaining organized and accurate case files and documentation

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the State Bar in the relevant jurisdiction
  • 3-5 years of specific experience in eDiscovery
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to eDiscovery

 

Certifications:

Preferred certifications in eDiscovery and related fields

 

Skills:

  • Proficient in legal research tools and eDiscovery software
