A law firm in Kansas City is actively seeking a Mid-level Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for advising on a diverse range of employee benefits and executive compensation matters, including the design, implementation, and administration of various plans. The Mid-level Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Associate Attorney will play a crucial role in providing legal guidance to clients in the areas of qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, equity plans, and nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements. The position requires strong legal research skills, excellent academic credentials, and the ability to communicate advice effectively to clients and colleagues.

 

Job Details:

  • Advise on a wide variety of employee benefits and executive compensation matters.
  • Design, implement, and administer qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, equity plans, and nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements
  • Conducted legal research, drafted legal documents, and provided strategic guidance.
  • Demonstrate strong presentation skills and clear communication with clients and colleagues.

 

Requirements:

  • Should have excellent academic credentials
  • Organized and efficient with disciplined time management skills
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri and be in good standing
  • 3+ years of relevant legal experience in Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri and be in good standing

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
