Job Overview:

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join its Wexford, PA office. This role offers an opportunity for a motivated attorney to handle a variety of family law matters, including litigation, legal research, and strategic case management. The attorney will work closely with clients to provide comprehensive legal support and advocacy, while focusing on personal and professional growth within a collaborative team environment. Location:

Duties:

  • Litigate family law cases, including preparing for and attending court hearings and trials.
  • Conduct client needs assessments and develop strategic case plans in alignment with client budgets.
  • Prepare legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, and settlement agreements for legal proceedings and negotiations.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, gather necessary information, and advise on legal strategies.
  • Conduct legal research and work alongside senior attorneys to resolve cases efficiently.
  • Collaborate with support staff to maintain organized client files and ensure seamless operations.
  • Draft correspondence and communicate with opposing counsel, court personnel, and other legal professionals.
  • Analyze legal conflicts and negotiate on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania and successful completion of the state bar exam.
  • Strong understanding of billable hours in a law firm setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in family law litigation and a passion for courtroom proceedings.
  • Ability to exceed set goals and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
