Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A reputable law firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing team. Location:

• Sacramento, CA

Duties:

• Represent clients in various legal matters, with a focus on insurance defense
• Conduct depositions and draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions
• Identify and collaborate with expert witnesses
• Maintain and build strong client relationships
• Assist with cases from inception to trial, including strategy development
• Participate in trial preparation and support trial proceedings
• Contribute to case strategy and provide legal analysis

Requirements:

• Active member of the California State Bar in good standing
• 1+ years of experience in insurance defense or litigation
• Trial experience preferred, but not required
• Strong desire to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to maintain client relationships and manage cases efficiently

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active California State Bar membership

Skills:

• Insurance defense experience is highly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong research, legal analysis, and writing skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Client-focused with strong interpersonal skills
