Associate Attorney for Columbus office

Duties

• Provide legal counsel to public sector clients on a broad range of labor, employment, and education law matters.
• Represent clients in litigation, including employment disputes, union negotiations, and school district matters.
• Draft legal documents, including contracts, policies, and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research on relevant case law and statutory provisions.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and client solutions.
• Communicate with clients to provide legal updates and strategic advice.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in labor and employment law, education law, or a related field (public sector experience is a plus).
• Proven interest or prior experience in public sector law, particularly with government entities or educational institutions.
• Strong advocacy skills with the ability to represent clients effectively in litigation.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications
