Duties:

• Represent policyholders in insurance recovery matters, including claim analysis and coverage disputes

• Provide strategic advice on insurance policies, claim submissions, and potential recovery avenues

• Negotiate settlements with insurers and participate in mediation and arbitration proceedings

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs for litigation

• Manage case strategy, discovery, and court proceedings in insurance-related disputes

• Collaborate with clients, expert witnesses, and internal legal teams to develop litigation strategies

• Stay informed on legal developments in insurance law and apply findings to active cases

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in insurance recovery litigation or a related field

• Strong background in representing policyholders in insurance disputes

• Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills

• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment

• Experience with domestic and international litigation and arbitration

• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

• Admission to the New York State Bar

Certifications:
