A law firm is seeking a Senior Trust and Estates Litigation Attorney with the following responsibilities, qualifications, and benefits:

 

Job Overview:

The Senior Trust and Estates Litigation Attorney will be responsible for managing a caseload of probate and trust litigation matters, representing clients in court proceedings, and providing legal advice and counsel on trust and estate issues.

 

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of probate and trust litigation matters, including will contests, trust disputes, and fiduciary litigation.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare pleadings and motions.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on trust and estate issues.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members on case strategy and client representation.
  • Attend continuing legal education courses and stay updated on changes in trust and estate law.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Bar admission in the state of California.
  • 5+ years of experience practicing probate and trust litigation.
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills.

 

Education and Certifications:
