Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel on private credit transactions, including cash flow deals, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and recapitalizations.
  • Draft and negotiate complex financing agreements and related documents.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and due diligence to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their financing needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Mentor junior attorneys and assist in their professional development.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments affecting private credit.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in private credit or finance matters, preferably at a nationally recognized law firm.
  • Demonstrated experience with lending transactions; borrower-side exposure is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple transactions and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar in California or eligibility for admission.
