A premier law firm is seeking a highly motivated Immigration Attorney with a focus on consular processing to join their growing team in Phoenix, AZ. Duties

  • Manage consular processing (CP) and waiver cases, including I-130, I-601A, I-212, I-601, consular processing, and K-Visa
  • Prepare clients for consulate interviews
  • Represent clients before USCIS
  • Review immigration applications/packets to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Lead a team of paralegals to meet productivity goals and client expectations
  • Provide legal analysis and guidance to clients on potential case benefits
  • Draft and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases

Requirements

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in Immigration Law, with a focus on consular processing
  • Proven ability to move legal cases forward and manage a caseload effectively
  • Strong team player, willing to strategize and collaborate with fellow associates
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required
  • Experience handling consular processing applications and waivers
  • Familiarity with case management software is preferred

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active member of the state bar (Arizona preferred)

Certifications

  • Admission to the state bar in good standing

Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of consular processing, waiver applications, and USCIS proceedings
  • Strong client management and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and work collaboratively with a team
  • Proficient in drafting immigration-related legal documents
