Mid-Level Associate Attorney needed for Wilmington office

Job Overview: A law firm in Wilmington, DE, is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney with 4-7 years of experience in complex finance transactions. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in sponsor-backed leveraged finance and representing borrowers, lenders, and/or agents in various finance transactions.

Duties:

• Serve as a key member of deal teams, responsible for fundamental aspects of transactions from due diligence through closing.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to finance transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate finance documents and agreements.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding finance matters.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to achieve client objectives.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience with complex finance transactions.
• Experience in sponsor-backed leveraged finance preferred.
• Experience representing borrowers, lenders, and/or agents in various finance transactions.
• Must be licensed and in good standing in Delaware.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Delaware State Bar.
