Duties

• Represent clients in immigration court and local courts, advocating for their legal rights
• File applications and legal documents with courts and government agencies on behalf of clients
• Engage with clients, co-workers, opposing counsel, and court staff to ensure case success
• Conduct legal research and prepare for court hearings and trials
• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and strategic advice
• Collaborate with team members to achieve the best possible outcomes for cases

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
• Willingness to engage with a diverse client base and work on a variety of legal matters
• No prior legal experience is necessary; training will be provided

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in any U.S. state (required)

• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus but not required
