Job Overview: This role seeks a healthcare regulatory associate with 3-5 years of experience. The candidate will be responsible for handling health regulatory law matters, including fraud and abuse, HIPAA compliance, corporate practice of medicine, licensing, reimbursement, and regulatory diligence for corporate transactions. The position also involves counseling telehealth and digital health companies and supporting healthcare transactions in private equity, M&A, and investment sectors. Government experience with CMS, OCR, DOJ, or FDA is a plus.

Location:

  • Chicago, IL

Duties:

  • Provide regulatory and compliance counseling to healthcare and life sciences clients

  • Conduct due diligence and structuring of healthcare-related corporate transactions

  • Advise on fraud and abuse laws, HIPAA, licensing, reimbursement, and corporate practice of medicine

  • Counsel telehealth and digital health companies on regulatory matters

  • Assist in healthcare transactions, including private equity, M&A, and investment transactions

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience

  • Experience in a top-tier law firm (AmLaw 100 preferred)

  • Strong background in healthcare regulatory law and corporate transactions

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice in Washington, D.C., Illinois, or New York

Skills:
