A dynamic personal injury law firm is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Associate Attorney with 0-5 years of experience. Duties:

  • Communicate with clients to understand their legal needs and provide advice.
  • Develop strategies for resolving cases favorably and cost-effectively.
  • Explain legal options and potential outcomes to clients.
  • Screen and evaluate potential clients.
  • Investigate claims, gather evidence, and document injuries and expenses.
  • Calculate damages and interview witnesses.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and attorneys.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and represent clients in trials.
  • Counsel clients throughout the claims process and protect them from insurance companies.
  • Prepare legal documents accurately and timely.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Commitment to high-quality legal work.
  • Ability to analyze and articulate legal issues effectively.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence in advocating for clients’ positions.
  • Developed research and negotiation skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Oregon; Washington license is a bonus.
