Job Overview:
A well-established law firm located in Iselin, NJ, is actively seeking a skilled and experienced General Liability Partner to join their team. The firm is looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented attorney with a strong background in commercial motor vehicle defense, premises liability, construction accident claims, product liability, and UM/UIM. Ideal candidates will have at least five years of litigation experience and a demonstrated track record of success.

Duties:

• Lead and manage cases involving general liability, including commercial motor vehicle defense, premises liability, construction accidents, and product liability.
• Represent clients in pre-trial, trial, and post-trial phases of litigation.
• Handle complex legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients and assist in the preparation of legal documents.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships while managing expectations.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and staff within the practice.
• Manage caseload effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure successful case resolutions.
• Assist in the development of new business opportunities for the firm.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on general liability.
• Barred and in good standing in New Jersey.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A book of business is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications:

• Active, good-standing license to practice law in New Jersey.

Skills:

• Strong litigation experience in general liability matters.

• Proven ability to manage cases and interact effectively with clients.
