Associate Attorney Litigation

A law firm seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join its litigation team in Long Beach, California. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for a newly licensed attorney or someone with 0 to 5 years of litigation experience. Duties:

• Draft legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct depositions and assist in preparing for trial.

• Work with experts to gather evidence and provide support for trial preparation.

Requirements:

• 0 to 5 years of experience in litigation, preferably with hands-on experience in all aspects of the process.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in California and in good standing with the California State Bar.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and managing litigation cases.
• Ability to interact professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Experience with depositions and trial preparation is a plus.
