A law firm seeks an experienced Immigration Attorney to join its team in Kendall Park, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment-based immigration cases, family petitions, consular matters, and removal proceedings. Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of immigration cases, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, P-3, PERM, family petitions, consular matters, and removal proceedings.
  • Provide legal advice and representation in various areas of law, including real estate, family law, estate planning, and probate.
  • Draft legal documents such as petitions, motions, and other filings for immigration matters.
  • Assist clients in navigating complex immigration processes and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Represent clients in immigration court and before government agencies.
  • Work collaboratively with other legal professionals to develop case strategies and provide comprehensive legal services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws and related practice areas.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in immigration law.
  • Strong knowledge and experience handling employment-based immigration cases, family petitions, consular matters, and removal proceedings.
  • Interest or experience in handling legal matters related to real estate, family law, estate planning, wills and trusts, and probate.
  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar in good standing.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • A proactive and client-focused approach to legal practice.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar in good standing.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
