A law firm in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with exceptional academic credentials and robust law firm experience. The ideal candidate will possess superb writing and communication skills and should ideally have a technical background in chemistry, biology, or a related field. This role involves drafting legal briefs, managing all aspects of fact and expert discovery, and handling complex Hatch Waxman litigation cases.

Duties:

  • Draft and review legal briefs, motions, and other litigation documents with high accuracy.
  • Oversee all aspects of fact and expert discovery, including strategizing, executing, and analyzing discovery processes.
  • Develop and implement effective litigation strategies for Hatch Waxman cases.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case development and litigation strategies.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and hearings.
  • Collaborate with clients, expert witnesses, and legal professionals to build and present strong cases.
  • Maintain meticulous case files and adhere to deadlines and procedural requirements.
  • Provide strategic advice and regular updates to clients regarding case status and developments.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Hatch Waxman litigation.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft legal documents and manage complex discovery processes.
  • Solid academic background and substantial experience within a law firm.
  • Preference for candidates with technical degrees in chemistry, biology, or related fields.

Education:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Missouri State Bar (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
