A well-established national defense law firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its team in Florida. Duties

• Handle both insurance coverage opinion work and insurance defense litigation.

• Draft detailed insurance coverage opinions for a variety of liability and property insurers.

• Analyze and interpret insurance policies, contracts, and related documents.

• Provide legal counsel on complex insurance coverage matters.

• Conduct legal research using Westlaw and other legal research tools.

• Represent clients in litigation matters as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience handling insurance coverage matters.

• Strong knowledge of insurance coverage law and litigation procedures.

• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Must be currently licensed to practice law in Florida.

• Additional licensure in other states is a plus.

Skills

• Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw.

• Strong drafting and analytical abilities.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Proficiency in legal technology and case management software.
