Intake Attorney

Concord office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an intake attorney with 1+ years of attorney experience. The candidate will assist clients step-by-step through every phase of the eviction process. Provide legal advice through phone consultations. Conduct legal research in order to identify and assess cases and legal issues. Draft legal correspondence, including letters and notices, based on client needs. Conduct and direct legal document preparation and review, including summons and complaints and stipulations. Assist with occasional court appearances and client presentations. Must have an active California Bar license.

The candidate must have a J.D. degree. Must have general knowledge of civil litigation. A general overview of landlord-tenant principles is preferred. Knowledge of the litigation process and California Civil Code is preferred. Some contact with the rental housing industry is preferred.
