Job Overview: A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a Mid-Level Life Sciences Corporate Associate Attorney to join their team. Duties:

  • Work closely with venture-backed private and public companies on various transactions including equity financing, IPOs, M&A, and corporate governance.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to manage substantial components of transactions independently.
  • Provide legal counsel on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis as required.
  • Draft and review legal documents and agreements.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate and transactional law.
  • Experience in public company representation and registered equity offerings (IPOs and follow-on).
  • Strong interest in or experience working with life sciences companies.
  • Outstanding academic credentials from a reputable law school.
  • Bar admission in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Relevant Bar admission in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
